OPPORTUNITY #6

ANNUAL "HOLIDAY FOOD FUND"

Every year Immanuel provides Thanksgiving baskets (a turkey plus all the trimmings) to 15 families identified by Garden Memorial Church as experiencing food insecurity. We also would like to provide Thanksgiving baskets for 17 families at Children of Mine and $35 supermarket gift cards to 29 low income families and 20 teachers at McLean/Falls Church Children's Center.

As of 11/17, we have received sponsorships for 68 of the 81 gift baskets and food gift cards described above!
We would like to include the teachers this year because their salaries have been reduced 25% because of low enrollment due to the coronavirus. If you would like to help, please make a donation of $25. Please make your check payable to Immanuel and either mail it to the church (or CLICK HERE for secure online giving) by November 30. Make sure you put "Holiday Food Fund" on the memo line of the check.
