Making Room: Reusable Straws

“For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.” Hebrews 3:4

Today’s eco-tip comes from Immanuel member Nate Buchanan:

Buy a reusable to straw to save plastic (you can find them in either metal or durable glass). You can also choose straw-free lids, or, if you are able, choose to stop using straws to reduce your environmental impact. 

Here’s a prayer for today:

Holy One
You care for the smallest of things:
Sparrows, flowers, seeds
And you see the smallest of actions
Kind words, silent presence, unseen generosity 

Empower our living
So that we might hold the small things in equal regard
And so reorder our lives in your economy of grace
