Making Room: Electronic Cables

“See, the former things have come to pass,
and new things I now declare;
before they spring forth, I tell you of them.”
Isaiah 42:9

Today’s eco-tip comes from Immanuel member Susan Gregory.

Recycle your old phones and cable. Phones and cables can’t be recycled curbside, but Fairfax County has 7 days per week recycling of electronic equipment at 1-66 transfer station on West Ox.  Times are available on the Fairfax County website.

Here’s a prayer for today:

Holy One,
We give you thanks
That even cables can be recycled
And we pray that might give us hope
That we, too, can be made new
That you are at work
And that your clings to us even now
Help us to trust in the grace that never leaves us
And never forsakes us to complacency
Amen
