Science and Religion in the Modern World   

Join this two-class discussion to explore your most pressing concerns about how we understand and relate to issues where science and religion have different answers.  Your questions will drive the discussion, such as: How are our views of God and religion affected by our understanding of science? Has science made belief in God obsolete? Can science make us more devout Christians? What are the limits of scientific explanation?  For inspiration, feel free to peruse two short YouTube talks in advance of the first class on June 2nd that are linked in the E-Presence.  Otherwise, just bring your curiosity, your experience, and a willingness to explore the universe.  Facilitators: Rich Bissell and Henry Haigler
