Outdoor Prayer Services at Immanuel Beginning Tuesday, July 21st
Join us for mid-week, outdoor, drive-in prayer services at Immanuel this summer! Sign up week-by-week to attend mid-week, outdoor, twenty-minute services of instrumental music, scripture, embodied liturgy, and prayer with your Immanuel community.
These mid-week services provide an additional opportunity for worship to go along with our continued online Sunday services.
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE SIGNING UP.
We are so looking forward to worshiping together!
-Each service will be limited to 15 cars (your car should only include people with whom you have been living during this time).
-Face masks: You MUST wear a face mask to attend. Please bring your own and ensure that it is covering both your nose and mouth before opening your car door upon arrival in the parking lot.
-These outdoor, drive-in services will occur every two weeks with two different staff members leading similar liturgy each week (to help with contact tracing, in case that becomes needed at any point).
-Submit only one sign-up per car and remember to include yourself in the count for your car and include full names of all individuals who will be in your car.
-Keep in mind: There is an inherent risk with gathering in any group in the midst of a pandemic, so please use your best judgment and consider worshiping with us online only if you fall into a high risk category for Covid-19.
-If you have been in close proximity with anyone experiencing coronavirus symptoms, or if you are personally experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 (See the CDC list of symptoms here), please do not sign up to come for in-person services and worship with us online instead. Let us know at office@ipcmclean.org or by contacting one of Immanuel’s pastors so that we can be praying for you during your waiting and healing.
-Physical Distancing: For everyone’s safety, park in any spot that does not have a chalk “X” drawn in it. When you choose your spot, you can roll down your car window OR bring your own lawn/camping chair to use. (BYO chairs will help with our ability to hear each other so that engines can be turned off during the prayer service.) Set your chair up in front of your car (not to the left/right of the white lines marking your parking spot). This will allow us to worship in community while observing good physical distancing practices.
