“BECAUSE WE NEED YOU” Conversations about Mental Health & Self-Care
You are invited to join us for “Because We Need You,” a real and supportive conversation about mental health and self-care. You’ll join with 8-10 others to share how you stay well, how to notice when you need help, and how to live into our communal call to care for each other. This will be somewhat similar to the model of “Death over Dinner” conversations we had a couple years ago. Our goal is similar: to lift the taboo and stigma from a tough topic while we share a meal and engage in meaningful and authentic conversation.
Each conversation will be hosted at the home of an Immanuelite and will be attended by one mental health professional and/or Stephen Minister from our congregation. The meal will be a potluck.
Sign up for one of the conversations using the link in your E-Presence. You will receive follow up communication with an address and some materials you can review before our time together that may be helpful in preparing to engage in our conversation. We hope you’ll join us!
