Rev. Blair Moorhead

Associate Pastor

Blair is a pastor and social worker who loves connecting people to their broader communities to embody Christ’s call to be neighbors and to care about our neighbors. She also finds her call in connecting our whole selves: body, mind, and spirit, to the work of loving Christ and the world. 

Blair formerly served as the Joint Mission Ministry coordinator between Fairlington and First Presbyterian Church Arlington, supporting the congregations as they engaged with their neighbors. In addition, she was the Site Coordinator for the DC site of the PC(USA) Young Adult Volunteer program since 2019. Ordained in 2020, she has also ministered as Director of Mission at Clarendon Presbyterian Church and as a temporary gap pastor at First Presbyterian Church Arlington. As a social worker prior to working in the church, Blair worked with unhoused and unstably housed neighbors in gaining access to needed resources and in individual and group therapy.

Blair was born in southern California and grew up in North Dakota. She graduated in 2013 with an MDiv from Union Theological Seminary in NYC as well as an MSW from Howard University. Blair and her husband Jim and their son live in Arlington.
