YEARLY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
Each December, Immanuel hosts 40 of our neighbors experiencing homelessness, providing a safe place to sleep, meals, entertainment, bus pass re-loads and more. Volunteers are trained every fall. Beginning in the fall, check your E-Presence for training dates/times and volunteer sign-ups.
Each November, Immanuel collects gifts and gift cards for the children of Alternative House, Bright Beginnings, Children of Mine, Falls Church-McLean Children’s Center, Mary House, SHARE, and families identified by Garden Memorial Presbyterian.
Every year Immanuel joins with our friends at Garden Memorial to prepare Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to 15 families in need. We also provide Thanksgiving baskets for 15 families at Children of Mine and supermarket gift cards to 35 families at McLean/Falls Church Children’s Center.
Join us for one (or more) of Immanuel's five international mission trips in five years! Opportunities include agape trips (relationship-building) and service trips.
