SUMMARY:Book Talk and Lunch with Sherri Goodman
DESCRIPTION:About Sherri Goodman\nSherri Goodman is a renowned leader in the intersection of national security\, climate change\, and public policy. A former Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Environmental Security\, she helped the U.S. military re-define how environmental risk and energy transitions integrate into global security strategy. Today she serves as Secretary General of the International Military Council on Climate & Security and is the author of the book Threat Multiplier: Climate\, Military Leadership\, and the Fight for Global Security. \nAbout the Book Talk\nIn Threat Multiplier\, Goodman takes readers inside the Pentagon and onto the global battlegrounds of climate and security. She explains how climate change is more than an environmental concern—it is a powerful force reshaping military strategy\, international diplomacy\, energy systems\, and the stability of nations. \nSherri will explore: \n\n\nWhy “climate as security threat” matters and how our world is already responding. \n\n\nWhat her experience in defense policy teaches us about resilience\, adaptation\, and hope. \n\n\nHow communities of faith and stewardship can engage meaningfully in this pivotal moment.
